Being a member of NAYD is the best way to keep up to date with youth theatre/drama in Ireland.

Become a member of NAYD and make sure that you don't miss out on fantastic youth drama and youth theatre opportunities every year: training, seminars, events, activities, research, latest news - and lots more!

We have four categories of membership:

  • Individual €30
  • Student/Unemployed €10
  • Organisation €50
  • Youth Theatre €70

Benefits of Membership

Individual and Organisation members of NAYD:

  • receive our monthly newsletter and annual magazine
  • can attend training, seminars and conferences
  • can access member-only resources
  • can avail of member rates for our publications
  • can attend and vote at AGMs

In addition to the above, affiliated Youth Theatres:

  • can apply for support programmes such as the Youth Theatre Support Scheme
  • can avail of advice on a wide range of areas from funding and Child Protection to artistic guidance
  • can apply for international opportunities
  • are eligible for specially designed insurance schemes
  • can join NAYD's Garda Vetting Consortium.

And their Youth Theatre Members can:

  • audition for the National Youth Theatre
  • participate in national and regional festivals
  • take part in events such as the Young Critics Programme and Audition Clinic workshops.

Youth Theatre Membership

Youth Theatres must meet certain criteria to become members. NAYD's Youth Theatre Officer Alan King is available to guide your youth theatre through the process of affiliating.
