Programme 2011

NAYD has planned a very busy 2011. Highlights include the National Festival of Youth Theatres taking place in Kilkenny in  July.  The Young Critics programme is back as is New Stage. Among the many training events are an Audition Clinic for youth theatre members and a Production Toolbox day (details  of both below). We also hope to have a National Youth Theatre in August.

NAYD will continue to offer support, advice and resources to youth theatres including the continuation of the Youth Theatre Support Scheme and the Capture YT initiative. Find out more about 2011 Programme

Audition Clinic

If you are a youth theatre member who is intending to apply for performance courses in 2011/12, you may well be interested in our one day Audition Clinic taking place on 21 February.

NAYD Production Tool Box

The first training event of the year for youth theatre leaders/directors will focus on production in all its various aspects. The main focus will be on producing New Stage and Playshare plays. The date is Saturday, 5 March.


YT Support Scheme

In 2010, 17 youth theatres availed of the four schemes offered by NAYD under the Youth Theatre Support Scheme banner. The closing date for  Youth Theatre Partnerships and Theatre Skills Training is 4 March.  Applications for Drama Facilitation Support and GO SEE YT are accepted on an on-going basis. Application forms are downloadable from our website.


Membership Renewal

The closing date for membership renewal is 1 March. Renewal forms have been sent to all current members. The cost of membership is Youth Theatres: 70 Euro, Organisations: 50 Euro, Individuals 30 Euro, Students: 10.

Training
